Stocks churn ahead of quarterly reports
Stocks churned Monday afternoon after an early rally failed to gain traction ahead of a slew of quarterly financial reports coming this week. With less than three hours left in the session, the 30-share Dow Jones industrial average was down 0.1% while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index was flat.
